Trust in MSA Currency and Human Involvement

Letter from the CEO

Dear stakeholders,

The past year has once again demonstrated how essential trust is to the global monetary system. In an environment marked by geopolitical uncertainty, rapid technological change, and shifting expectations of institutions, the simple act of accepting a banknote in a transaction still rests on one fundamental belief: that the currency is authentic, secure, and backed by reliable institutions. As a global banknote printer, MSA Global carries a unique responsibility in this chain of trust, and it is a responsibility we embrace with conviction.

Over the year, we strengthened our role as a trusted partner to central banks and monetary authorities by focusing on integrity, operational excellence, and innovation. We continued to invest in advanced security features, rigorous quality controls, and resilient supply capabilities to help our clients meet evolving cash demand. At the same time, we embedded clearer purpose into our strategy: every note we produce must not only meet technical specifications, but also support confidence in the financial ecosystem and in the institutions that safeguard it.

Technology is transforming our industry, from design and production to inspection and logistics. We are accelerating automation across our operations, but we are equally clear that technology cannot replace human judgment where it matters most. This is why we have expanded Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) approaches in our critical processes. Expert teams oversee and validate key automated decisions, combining data-driven insights with experience, ethical awareness, and accountability. This combination helps us detect anomalies earlier, respond faster to emerging risks, and uphold the highest security and compliance standards.

Our progress this year would not have been possible without the dedication of our people and the trust of our partners. I am deeply grateful to our employees, whose professionalism and integrity underpin everything we do, and to our clients, who challenge us to raise our standards year after year. Looking ahead, we will continue to align our investments, governance, and culture with our core purpose: to be a banknote printer that the world can rely on—grounded in integrity, driven by innovation, and unwavering in our commitment to the trust that gives currency its value.

Sincerely,
 Musa ALHAG,
